Goodbye is one of the hardest things to say

Time really flies when you don't notice it. Its already a year and the time to say good bye is well..., now. Its hard to part ways when you known someone for a few years, but sometimes its just as hard if not harder to do the same when you know someone for a short span of time. Its that feeling of not enough time to get to know them well enough or do do anything meaningful. Most people from PT05/06 will be in cyberjaya, while only some of us will still stay in Melaka to do our majors.
Anyway, on 24th May, Saturday our so called class gathering which consist of 7 people went to Alai, Crystal Bay for ikan bakar. we had fun eventhough we had like 7 people. Would love for more people to come, but most of them can't make it.

Recently Screamyx is again f***ed and some time will not let MSN messenger and hotmail to be connected. this is due to certain ip addresses. to solve this damm problem, open your router/modem configuration/dialer and disconnect from your current ip and connect again to get a new one. Or just keep turning off and on your modem until things are solved.

60.53.xxx.xxx
change to anything other than that.

So we had breakfast at Mc Donalds with Jian Zhen, Sarah, and Wendy!Since me and JZ were early, we had to wait for the gals (read: yang permaisuris...) to arrive, they were loads of tour buses around, so we, i mean me, decided to act toursity :D

Been a long time..

I am back! finally, some free time to update this damm site of mine... Anyways, been busy shopping during the month and i got myself these goodies!!


I have been using an Audigy2 value for almost a year now, its a good card, EAX and CMSS and everything, its been good so far.
But lets face it, its abit old already... so say hello to my spanking new X-Fi Elite Pro! as you can see, it has more err components on it compared to the older Audigy2. And it has a heatsink on it!!!! love!!! although it does not produce enough heat to warrant it, but I digress anyways,

Its gold plated at the back!!! other that improving connection between the jack and plugs, it is also to show the lesser people/souncards to get the hell away :D. Oh and the big D-sub connector is for the console, which i don't have :(

Seriously, when you use the X-Fi, you will never want to go back to anything else. 24-bit crystallizer works wonders, when its between minimum and the halfway setting, anything above will make anything sound dodgy. CMSS-3d in short works, but make your songs sound bad most of the time. In movies its not so bad though.

Other than the sound card, i also bought mouse skates as i was using my MX518 on the table, bad move, those super slick teflon skates were not so slick after heavy usage, so i needed replacements
They are very easy to replace and it returns your mouse to super slick status again.

And because i need a mousepad, and i was partly suckered by the adverts...
Yes i actually bought a Razer Destructor.
Shes mine and you guys/gals can't have it. :)

Malaysia Boleh, maybe not....

Open the papers these few days and I challenge you not to get sick and bored about the things some of our politicians are capable of. No really, first Hindraf, then this Lingam fella. What were they thinking when they are committing stupid acts after stupid acts. But lets just focus on the latter. Recently in the papers He stated that the person in the video "looks like him, sounds like him", come on, a 5 year old can recognize him just by watching the video. Surely he does not have an evil twin brother, that looks like him and sounds like him? then just today in the papers "i was just bragging to whoever is on the phone..." Sure........

But anyway, the whole point of this rant is about Malaysia and our mentality. When something wrong happens and somehow they are involved and in deep shit, then the roller coaster of lame excuses and lame ways to get they and themselves out of the problems they created in the first place starts. They start blaming everybody but themselves and they will instruct an army of people just to investigate what went wrong. Thats why, when our Health Minister, sorry now ex Health Minister resigned from his post due to his so called sex scandal, I have immense respect for him. What he did was wrong i should clarify myself, but to actually admit what he did takes courage. For him to do that makes me proud to be a Malaysian, that someone in the higher echelons has the courage, dignity and responsibility to admit his mistakes and resigned after encountering heavy resistance by some people who are 'moral' and have forgotten all the things he have done while holding his post. and again R.E.S.P.E.C.T to him.

Other problems with our mentality includes our weird obsession with petty things that are happening around us but we just decide to ignore the more important stuff. For example we agonize about our so called moral decline while we have mat rempits/minah terrorizing the roads. We moan and groan about a popular pop star taking off his shirt (its called stripping here...) and wasting time pondering about what should they do to (punish) him. It has come to this stage I that when a meteor is going to hit Malaysia, we still can ponder bout our morals...

So maybe, maybe this mentality is instilled into us by schools in the first place. This is a real event where a friend of mine, a student of Munshi Abdullah decided to delete his blog because of the "controversial" content he had in it. http://heavensdeed.blogspot.com/ Its not controversial, Hes just a student just voicing out his opinion about his school, yes there were harsh words and stuff. Who dosent get mad at some things at times? All of us do. And its not all negative about the school. He did shower praises/love to his teacher due to their dedication and teaching abilities. But no, with typical Malaysian grace, they had a disiplinary board meeting discussing about the blog and what they should do to protect the "schools name". If the school name is so perfect why bother? its just a lame excuse used because they cannot take criticism. Why can't they improve after the blog? I am sure some people have the same feeling, but does not mean if they do not blog they have nothing to say. Blogs never caused harm, politics do.

Happy Birthday to Li Min!!! She is literally inundated by pictures when she came ok it was only me... Time to partay!!!
Anyway, Friends Cafe was a not bad place, nice atmosphere, actually quite liked it when i first went in there.
We never had dinner so it was straight to the menu and took us quite awhile to choose what to eat due to price (you will see what i mean)/too many choice etc etc
